Filipino: Anix's Kare Kare House

Kare-Kare, it was first originated in Pampanga region. A Philippine stew made up of peanut sauce with a variety of vegetables, stewed oxtail, beef, and occasionally offal or tripe. It is often paired with 'Bagoong' or Shrimp paste (spicy bagoong is perfect!) and hot steamed rice.

For Filipinos, Kare Kare is an all time favorite dish, perfect for either lunch or dinner. Hindi ka Pinoy kung hindi ka kumakain nito!

I discovered a simple restaurant along Sumulong Highway in Antipolo in which their specialty is Kare Kare. Palalagpasin ko pa ba yun? Siyempre HINDI! :)

Their Crispy Pata is so tender and juicy. Kusang natatanggal na sa buto yung meat dahil sa sobrang tender. Crispy pa talaga! A MUST TRY!

Baked Oysters (P250)
Servings: 3-4 pax
Suggestion: Order it first! Because it's serving time is a little bit slow but you'll surely love the creaminess of the topping in which it perfectly fits the sweetness of the oysters.
